Höhenrettungsteam der FF Fügen
When, for example, an emergency occurs on a 60-meter-high construction crane, many fire departments reach their limits, and this is precisely where the Wörgl Volunteer Fire Department’s high-altitude rescue team comes in. Thanks to the targeted training of its 18 members and the associated equipment, no operation is insurmountable. Our fire department doctor and paramedics provide medical care at exposed locations.

Of course, there is also special equipment for the members of the high-altitude rescue team, which includes a 5-point harness, a climbing helmet, gloves, abseiling devices, safety devices and a personal radio.
All equipment (including ropes) is stored in rolling containers and can be stowed in the LAST in just a few minutes if needed. Furthermore, the equipment can be adapted with various basket stretchers and other technical equipment from a wide variety of vehicles.
